LA Metro Rosecrans/Marquardt Avenue Grade Separation
The Rosecrans/Marquardt Avenue Grade Separation project is a one-mile-long stretch of businesses and commercial use located in the City of Santa Fe Springs. The proposed project will grade separate this intersection from the existing diagonal at-grade crossing and substantially enhance the safety and traffic flow on surface streets. It will also improve the efficiency of train movements along the rail corridor.
As a subconstultant to the design team, Guida is provided surveying and mapping for the design phase, pothole location survey, railroad track surveying, plotting existing easements, preparing legal descriptions and plats, right of way maps, pre- and post-construction records of survey, and construction management survey support.
This project is led by Metro in cooperation with the City of Santa Fe Springs, City of La Mirada, Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Amtrak, California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Metrolink and California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA).
