ACE, Fairway Drive Grade Separation

Guida provided QA/QC survey services for the Fairway Drive Grade Separation project. This project will lower Fairway Drive under the two existing Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) and Metrolink tracks in the City of Industry, an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County, immediately north of the 60 Freeway. Plans called for constructing a four-lane roadway underpass and a new four-track railroad bridge. Business Parkway and Walnut Drive North will be lowered at their intersections with Fairway Drive. Guida’s work for this project included verification of horizontal and vertical control, wall layout verifications, earth work quantiles, office calculations and support, as-built survey, drainage layout verification. All work adheres to Caltrans’ standards.
